\"decorated<\/a>I’ve made a little progress on stitching the pieces of my clamshells. I honestly think it would be doubly difficult to decide which designs to use if I hadn’t made a detailed stitch sampler, following directions posted on the Bernina web site<\/a>. This allows me to flip through the pages of designs to decide which ones to use next; it’s amazing how different many of them look, compared to what can be viewed on the screen of the machine. Anyway, I have 49 clamshells to decorate before I put them together and stitch yet another motif on each one — and that’s assuming I don’t hate some of what I do and end up having make a few new ones! LOL! So at this point, I’m a little less than 25% finished with this step — and it’s fun!
