\"supplies<\/a>A couple of months ago or so, I bought a book\/pattern that caught my attention. It’s called Glamorous Clams<\/a>, by Deborah Louie, an Australian quilter. Now that some of our quilt shops are sort of open again, I went in a few days ago and purchased fabric to make a large cushion from this pattern, though instructions for two sizes of quilts are also included in the book. I decided on teals, purples, and a “pop” of yellow for my colors, along with muslin to be used as the “base” fabric. Luckily for me, I have what I’m hoping will be enough threads in compatible colors so that I won’t need to get more — fingers crossed! So now I need to get busy and cut out a zillion or more clamshell shapes — or pieces of clamshells — to put together!
