The class I did in August was a different &#8220;take&#8221; on paper piecing from what I&#8217;ve typically done in the past. The samples I made from this were fun to do. First, I made samples of two different sizes of hexagons, pieced entirely by machine and without splitting any of the hexagons. I didn&#8217;t do many of them, but I don&#8217;t anticipate making an entire quilt of clamshells, anyway. However, I could definitely see making some as *part* of a quilt.
