\"Interwoven<\/a>It’s done! Oops — *almost* done; I still need to make and add the label, but the quilting and the binding are finished. \ud83d\ude42 This was fun to quilt, as I used a different motif in each section. Some sections are larger than others, of course, but I used a mixture of “regular” free-motion quilting and ruler work. There were times when I paused and thought long and hard about what to put in the next area, but I certainly didn’t get bored! My Bernina 790+ sailed through this whole process, where I used 60wt thread for the quilting on top and in the bobbin so that the thread merely made texture, rather than taking a starring role. I had to skip adding my usual corded piping on this piece, sadly. I simply didn’t have enough fabric and, even if I’d had enough, neither color would have shown up in all areas. I could, of course, have chosen a contrasting color, but I love the graphic two-color theme here, so I gave up the idea of piping this one.<\/p>\n
