I&#8217;d love to say that getting ready for the Christmas season is the reason I haven&#8217;t gotten any further, but that wouldn&#8217;t be true. At least, it would only be <em>partially<\/em> true. \ud83d\ude09 What actually happened was that I stitched all of the blocks together and was ready to add corners to square it up when I noticed that some of the seams were shredding! Ack! I tried taking the affected blocks out and fixing things, but the more I removed, the more adjacent blocks were messed up.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/sandymike.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/IMG_0983.jpeg?ssl=1\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-4034\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/sandymike.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/IMG_0983.jpeg?resize=264%2C300&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"Spinning blocks quilt top\" width=\"264\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/sandymike.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/IMG_0983.jpeg?resize=264%2C300&amp;ssl=1 264w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/sandymike.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/IMG_0983.jpeg?w=564&amp;ssl=1 564w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 264px) 100vw, 264px\" \/><\/a>I took a deep breath and assessed my options. I could trash the whole thing and think of another project, or I could remake the entire thing; fixing the original one just wasn&#8217;t going to be feasible. Obviously, since you can see the photo with this post, you can guess which option I decided upon. The new blocks are now put together, and the corners have been added.
