I’ve been MIA for a bit longer than I’d realized! I’ve been working on a new quilt (what else is new?), and that leads me to today’s post. No, not the new quilt, but related …. A few months ago, I showed you a new pin cushion I’d hand embroidered. I’d been keeping this one on a corner of my sewing cabinet, where I thought it looked rather cute. Oops. In working on my new quilt — you guessed it — I didn’t realize I’d knocked this pin cushion \u00a0to the floor. That is, I didn’t realize it until I couldn’t find my little dog in her usual spots. When I did find her hiding place, she wasn’t alone; she was having a wonderful time tearing apart my pin cushion. <sigh> \"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

The good news is that I’m rather fond of pin cushions, so I do have others. Even better, there were no pins yet in this cushion to harm my dog. There’s more damage on the other side, so I’m guessing it would be kinder to put this little guy out of his misery.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
