At any rate, my local quilt group liked my biscornu cushion<\/a> and want me to teach them the technique by means of making a pin cushion, so I made a new one; my previous one is already nine years old, but the new one may end up being a gift, if the intended recipient wants it. The new one uses machine embroidery, while the older one just had a bit of decorative stitching. Here are the old and the new together. I’ll still need to make a sample or two of partially-constructed versions to illustrate how to do this, but step one is done!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
