I&#8217;ve had the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.emblibrary.com\/EL\/Products.aspx?Catalog=Emblibrary&amp;ProductID=X13527\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">design for this one<\/a> for over a year, and I&#8217;ve finally gotten around to making her. She&#8217;s all lace embroidery over organza; the fiddliest part was putting all of the sections together, which had to be done by hand.<\/p>\n<p>Making this angel took about thirteen hours of machine stitching (not counting the handwork or prep), with almost 217,000 stitches. For those who are familiar with the Bernina 790+, which is what I have, I used five full bobbins and part of a sixth one! That&#8217;s a <em>lot<\/em> of thread!
