So the final product isn&#8217;t anything like what I&#8217;d originally intended, and I&#8217;m a bit disappointed. Oh well &#8212; live and learn. This is a small quilt, approximately 24&#8243; x 24&#8243;. I couched some lovely Dazzle threads by Wonderfil, but I didn&#8217;t do it the way I&#8217;d thought I would, so they don&#8217;t give quite the effect I&#8217;d hoped for.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/sandymike.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/IMG_0718-1.jpg\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-3540\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/sandymike.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/IMG_0718-1-300x225.jpg?resize=300%2C225\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/sandymike.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/IMG_0718-1.jpg?resize=300%2C225&amp;ssl=1 300w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/sandymike.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/IMG_0718-1.jpg?resize=768%2C576&amp;ssl=1 768w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/sandymike.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/IMG_0718-1.jpg?resize=1024%2C768&amp;ssl=1 1024w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/sandymike.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/IMG_0718-1.jpg?w=1280&amp;ssl=1 1280w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a>The quilting is a combination of free-motion work and ruler work, and I thoroughly enjoyed doing all of that.
