\"\"<\/a>It seems that I’ve been working on this quilt forever. Adding to the delay in finishing it was the fact that I had to order more crystals when I ran out of some of the colors I was using. But it’s finally done! Okay, I still need to block it, but that’s minor. It’s impossible to see the little sparkles in this overall picture, but they are there, I promise.<\/p>\n

On the right is a detail shot of one of the New York Beauty blocks, where you\u00a0might<\/em> be able to see some of the bling, as well as one of the feathered corners. It was a lot of fun deciding which crystal colors to use on each block.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>And here is a shot of one of the stars in between the blocks. I didn’t add as many crystals on these stars. This quilt used a lot of different techniques, including paper piecing, free motion quilting, and ruler work.
