\"\"<\/a>Last October one of my cousins was visiting Las Vegas during a tour she took; she lives in England, so this was a wonderful chance to get together, if only briefly. \ud83d\ude42 Andrea brought me a lovely grouping of fabrics and a pattern for a tote bag. I had to \u00a0put everything away for a time while I caught up on other things I had waiting, but I’ve finally made the bag, thanks to Andrea’s generosity.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>This bag is one of the reasons I posted the other day about silicon mats; I needed to use mine when I was quilting the outer panels onto some Soft and Stable. \u00a0The instructions called for batting, but the Soft and Stable gives bags a bit more stability, but it also tends to slide less than easily along the bed of the sewing machine.
