Yay! For some reason, I didn&#8217;t completely paralyze myself this time with those awful inner questions: How should I quilt this? What if it doesn&#8217;t look okay? Will I mess up? &#8212; and so on. Those questions can keep me debating with myself forever, instead of quilting. This time, though, I knew I wanted radiating lines going from the gorgeous elephant designed by Madisen Hastings to &nbsp;the edge of the quilt, and then I just filled in those lines with more echoing lines and the occasional &#8220;other&#8221; filler to add interest.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/sandymike.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/Holi-Ganesha5.jpg\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-3180\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/sandymike.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/Holi-Ganesha5-300x233.jpg?resize=300%2C233\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"233\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/sandymike.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/Holi-Ganesha5.jpg?resize=300%2C233&amp;ssl=1 300w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/sandymike.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/Holi-Ganesha5.jpg?resize=768%2C598&amp;ssl=1 768w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/sandymike.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/Holi-Ganesha5.jpg?resize=1024%2C797&amp;ssl=1 1024w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/sandymike.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/Holi-Ganesha5.jpg?w=1280&amp;ssl=1 1280w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a>It was such fun to use my ruler foot (the Bernina #72) and a variety of rulers (my favorites tend to be some from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lisahcalle.com\/rulers.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Lisa Calle<\/a>&nbsp;and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thecopperneedle.com\/the-copper-needle-store.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Gina Perkes<\/a>) to make the various lines.
