First of all, I’m still working on my current quilt — slowly, it’s true, but I’ll show pictures when I’m happier with what I’m doing. \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>However, my husband of almost 45 years bought me a gift for no particular reason a few weeks ago, and it arrived yesterday. He’s not much into giving gifts, so this is pretty special. \ud83d\ude42 He had\u00a0me order the Apple AirPods, so now I have a wireless way to listen to my music and podcasts, answer the phone, etc., wherever I happen to be. Yay! Of course, I can already do all of that\u00a0easily in my car, but this gives me more options. So far, I’m really liking the AirPods. The sound is good (though I’m no connoisseur), and there’s a very cool feature that allows whatever is playing to pause automatically (automagically?) when one of the AirPods is removed from the ear. The very compact case is also a charger, so\u00a0it’s very easy to give the AirPods a bit more “juice” while on the go; I think this could be very nice on a long airplane trip.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
