\"\"<\/a>Actually, this is probably installment four, since the first step in this online project was to trace the main parts of the design and sandwich the little quilt. The second was to quilt along the wavy lines<\/a> and then quilt flying geese inside those. The third step was\u00a0to draw three\u00a0large concentric circles onto the design. Now we’ve done some echo quilting inside one of the resulting “doughnut” shapes made by the circles, trying to transition from one curved end to the other. I used some contrasting 100 wt. silk thread that I’ve had hanging around for some time, and\u00a0\u2014\u00a0for the most part\u00a0\u2014\u00a0I’m pretty pleased with the results.
