\"img_1945\"<\/a>A new cookbook arrived at my house the other day, and today I decided to take a little break from quilting and make something new. The book is Dorie Greenspan’s latest, Dorie’s Cookies<\/strong><\/a>, and it’s enormous! Every recipe has a full-page photo and also detailed instructions and explanations of why<\/em> to use particular methods. Beautiful! Anyway, I made her Almond Crescents. I think next time (and there will<\/em> be a next time!) I’ll make them a little smaller, but they’re delicious. How delicious, you ask? Three of my grandchildren came over (the other two weren’t available), and the cookies passed with flying colors!
