It was so peaceful &#8212; helped by the fact that ours wasn&#8217;t a 5,000-passenger ship, like so many ocean-going cruises are. That means that it&#8217;s not unusual to have two &#8212; or even three! &#8212; boats lined up at a single dock. The people on the outer boats simply walk through the reception area of the inner boats to get to and from shore.
