I’m in the middle of\u00a0packing away most of my quilting paraphernalia, as well as most of my house, in anticipation of some new tile being laid in the not-too-distant future. What makes this doubly difficult is that the old tile must be taken out first; given that both “sets” of tile are ceramic, this makes an enormous mess, and we have to protect our things as well as making it easy for our tile man to work. I keep telling myself it will all be worth it in the end …. \ud83d\ude09
\n\"Bib<\/a>So what does that have to do with a baby bib? I’ve also just recently found out that my hairdresser, a really sweet woman, is expecting her first baby fairly soon. I simply won’t be able to make a baby quilt, but I couldn’t completely ignore such a happy event, either! So I’ve made this little bib, which was all done in the maxi hoop of my Bernina. The hardest parts were selecting the fabrics and turning everything right-side out; those straps for the neck really didn’t want to budge. \ud83d\ude09 But isn’t that little bunny just too sweet? Oops — I just noticed a jump stitch I need to trim!<\/p>\n
