Even better, her birthday is coming up this Friday, so I now had a deadline to work towards\u00a0\u2014\u00a0and I made it. \ud83d\ude42 Of course, the piecing was very simple; half-square triangles are nothing to stress over, after all. I decided to quilt it pretty heavily, and the straight lines in the yellow triangles were the subject of\u00a0my last post. Then I had to decide on a\u00a0curvy motif to use for the pink triangles, and I ended up with some spirals that contrast nicely with those straight lines, I think.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/sandymike.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/IMG_0416-2.jpg\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-2057\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/sandymike.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/IMG_0416-2-108x300.jpg?resize=108%2C300\" alt=\"IMG_0416-2\" width=\"108\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/sandymike.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/IMG_0416-2.jpg?resize=108%2C300&amp;ssl=1 108w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/sandymike.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/IMG_0416-2.jpg?resize=368%2C1024&amp;ssl=1 368w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/sandymike.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/IMG_0416-2.jpg?w=1158&amp;ssl=1 1158w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 108px) 100vw, 108px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s a photo of the whole thing. As you can see, it&#8217;s quite narrow and fairly long, measuring 41&#8243; in length and almost 6.5&#8243; wide. It won&#8217;t take up much room on my granddaughter&#8217;s dresser, but it should drape nicely off the ends. By the way, it&#8217;s not easy to take a decent photo of something this long and narrow!
