\"IMG_0332\"<\/a>That’s the name of my latest\u00a0finished quilt! It came from a pattern by Elisa’s Backporch,<\/a> and it’s yet another Drunkard’s Path layout. I began this ages ago<\/a>, finished the top, and then let it languish while I decided how I wanted to quilt it.<\/p>\n

\"IMG_0337\"<\/a>A year or so later, I got back to it. I quilted the feathered quarter-circles and their backgrounds on my Bernina 630 before packing it all up for the Christmas season, when I knew I’d be too busy to continue. I used gold metallic thread for these feathers and cream or black Aurifil 50wt. cotton for the backgrounds.<\/p>\n

\"IMG_0336\"<\/a>Right after that is\u00a0when I bought my new Bernina 780, so I switched gears a bit. The feathered swags in the larger pink areas, as well as the borders (see above), were done on the new machine. All of the pink areas were quilted with\u00a0a matching Aurifil 50wt. cotton thread.<\/p>\n
