I’ve always liked curved blocks: Drunkard’s Path, New York Beauty, Winding Ways, etc. In fact, I’ve already made two projects from the Drunkard’s Path block, I’ve done some NY Beauties, and I recently finished my Winding Ways quilt (photo coming soon, I hope!). When I saw my sister’s recent work, I decided I had to make yet another Drunkard’s Path quilt, so now I’ve begun work on that. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

What’s really great about this one is that the quilter<\/a> who came out with the templates I’m using this time also put up some online videos<\/a> for her technique \u2014 a technique that uses no<\/i> pins<\/i>! Yay! I’ve never liked what happens with pins in curves, especially if the blocks are very small, so this is great. I’ve made the first 20 blocks for this quilt; these measure 3.75″ unfinished.
