Our quilt circle had its exchange, and I tucked my share of those signed blocks away for a time. Fast forward to last week, when our circle had another exchange, this time of half-square triangle blocks. Coincidentally, the signature blocks were 4&#8243; (finished), and the HSTs were 2&#8243; (finished), which means they could be <i>so<\/i> easy to use together! I&#8217;ve spent the past couple of days sewing them together into basket blocks with results like these:<\/div>\n<div style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/sandymike.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/08\/baskets.jpg\" style=\"margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\" target=\"_blank\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" border=\"0\" height=\"284\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/sandymike.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/08\/baskets-300x266.jpg?resize=320%2C284\" width=\"320\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<p><\/p>\n<div style=\"text-align: left;\">I&#8217;m going to set them on point, probably with black setting triangles, though I&#8217;m still considering color choices.
