Today I finished the first of two shawls for this class, and I&#8217;m now waiting for it to dry after having blocked it. \ud83d\ude42 I love the color of the yarn I used (it&#8217;s a little paler than shows in the photo), and I think the beads are just subtle enough to add a nice touch without being too flashy. I&#8217;ll probably start the second shawl soon; that one will be black.<\/p>\n<div style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/sandymike.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/08\/Accola-Shawl.jpg\" style=\"margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" border=\"0\" height=\"210\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/sandymike.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/08\/Accola-Shawl-300x158.jpg?resize=400%2C210\" width=\"400\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<p>Now it&#8217;s back to some machine quilting!
