{"id":1304,"date":"2014-01-19T18:05:00","date_gmt":"2014-01-20T02:05:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/sandymike.net\/blog\/2014\/01\/19\/great-class\/"},"modified":"2015-01-01T12:58:23","modified_gmt":"2015-01-01T20:58:23","slug":"great-class","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sandymike.net\/blog\/2014\/01\/19\/great-class\/","title":{"rendered":"Great class!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Friday I was lucky enough to have been able to take a free-motion quilting class from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cindyneedham.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Cindy Needham<\/a>. She&#8217;s most famous for her quilts made from old linens, and we saw lots of those at Thursday evening&#8217;s guild meeting \u2014 they&#8217;re drop-dead <i>gorgeous<\/i>! But linens aren&#8217;t something I have hanging around my little house, and I&#8217;m always interested in learning more techniques in machine quilting, so that&#8217;s what I opted to take.<\/p>\n<p>The class was wonderful, and all the more so because it was a small group, so we had plenty of individualized attention from Cindy. \ud83d\ude42 She brought dozens and dozens of spools of different threads from the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.superiorthreads.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Superior<\/a> company, whose threads and needles are definitely among my favorites.
