Pumpkin’s Progress 4

A couple of weeks ago, I posted about beginning a pumpkin quilt. I’ve made some good progress on it, and I’m happy to say that all of the embroidered appliqué is now finished! Yay! Soon I’ll layer it and begin quilting — fun! I had decided to use a gradated purple fabric for the border, and I’m pretty happy with how that looks. I also decided to omit the embroidered title in the top border, another minor variation from the pattern.

About Sandy

I’m a retired high school French teacher from Arizona, now living in the Las Vegas area. I loved teaching French, but I love retirement even more! I’m a quilter, and most of what you see here will be about quilting, though I’ve also taken up knitting, and I love to bake. Please leave me a comment if you want to contact me — I’ll get back to you as soon as possible. :)
